With apetito you can be confident that all of your residents will receive nutritious, tasty meals every day.  Our range of care home food offers an extensive choice of meals and special diet options meeting National Association of Care Catering and Care Quality Commission standards.

apetito takes away the difficulties of cooking in house where staff changes and holidays can make it difficult to deliver consistent quality meals and it is time consuming to cater for special diets.  Our system enables you to deliver consistently tasty meals with minimal preparation and minimum fuss - because our chefs have already done the hard work for you.

Menu planning

As part of the set up process with apetito, your Client Development Manager will work with you to prepare a nutritious and varied menu plan including a wide selection of our dishes.

 

We will visit your Care Home and take time to learn about your residents’ dietary needs and preferences.  Your Client Development Manager will then prepare a four-week menu plan to cater for your residents' needs.   We can even arrange a tasting evening for your residents and their relatives to sample the range of food on offer.

At the end of the first four-week cycle, we will review and refine your menu with you, and continue to monitor and review this every 3 months.

Nutritional information

apetito Nutridata is our online nutritional information system.  Quick and simple to use, Nutridata is a useful reference tool which will help you to cater for residents with special dietary needs.  Nutridata provides ingredient declarations, cooking times, nutritional details and information on dietary suitability for all our products. So you can easily search for meals suitable for residents with a combination of dietary needs and preferences.
