Paul Tollet, Vice President of Business, Orange UK said: “We wish the best of luck to all finalists of The National Business Awards South of England regional programme. Nobody can doubt that this is an extremely difficult period for commerce, however, The National Business Awards provides the opportunity to revive some confidence in UK business through the recognition of our most talented organisations and individuals. This year's finalists clearly demonstrate the resilience, adaptability and success needed to drive the economy forward."
Made up of nine categories, finalists will now be preparing to make their presentations in person before an independent, expert judging panel from 1st – 12th June. Winners will be unveiled at a glittering gala dinner and awards ceremony in London at the Hilton Park Lane hotel 14th July.
“The entry level for this year’s programme of The National Business Awards Regional Programme is very encouraging. Entrants have shown both the resilience and optimism that are the hallmarks of UK enterprise. Without exception all had forecast a level of growth for the coming year which appears to indicate that even in the prevailing market conditions, well run, professionally operated organisations are able to develop and implement effective success strategies”, said Philip Forrest, Chairman of Judges, The National Business Awards.
apetito’s Chief Exective Paul Freeston is delighted at the result: “It’s a great source of pride to have the work of our organisation - and more importantly our employees – recognised externally by such an esteemed body. We’re going to give it our all in the presentations and I’m confident that after the panel see the passion and dedication of our people we’ll be in a strong position to bring some awards home.”
