Business Manager - Care Homes sector

We are looking to recruit a Business Manager for the Care Homes sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving/exceeding the budget/MUP sales and profit targets that have been identified as available to apetito within the Care Homes sector.  As apetito does not currently operate within this sector, the position represents a real business development (’hunting’) opportunity for a hungry, self motivated, and successful commercial manager with experience and/or appreciation of the   sector or associated sectors. Objectives will be achieved by investing energy, passion and enthusiasm into the development of key account relationships.

The role will also crucially involve developing new products, systems and services for a new market sector and identifying and implementing initiatives to create clear competitive advantage. Managing cross functional relationships with NPD, Manufacturing and Marketing/Business Development is a must.

The role represents a unique opportunity to take responsibility for developing a new ‘virgin’ market for apetito and developing your career as a consequence . 

The role will initially report into the Head of Business Development. - who to date has been the driving force in developing the sector. It is, however, anticipated that as and when the successful applicant  takes day to day  responsibility,  the reporting line will change into the Business Development Director
