apetito recognise that different clients have different needs and increasing numbers of Local Authorities are turning to a 100% frozen meals delivery service which, as well as being highly cost-effective is found to ensure a flexible, reliable and responsive service, as well as affording customers increased freedom of choice and maintain independence.

The apetito Menu Selector is a comprehensive and appealing colour menu of over 60 products for customers to typically select two weeks’ worth of frozen meals to be delivered in one go - ensuring they are not tied to the house awaiting a traditional daily delivery. The Menu Selector includes a colour photograph of the dish along with all nutritional and cooking information.

Customers can either use a conventional oven or microwave or apetito’s specialist range of cooking systems, such as the Servtherm steamer or the innovative, easy-to-use apetito Mikrofix - the microwave oven specifically developed to cook every apetito meal to perfection.

Customers simply hand the order form to their delivery driver who arrives fortnightly around the same time of day who will not leave meals if the customer is not at home. Our team of drivers are trained to not only deliver the meal but to monitor the customer’s well-being as part of apetito’s Safe & Sound initiative, placing the meals in the freezer if necessary and checking the meals are being eaten. Any changes in the customer’s day-to-day behaviour or routine is also reported.
