At apetito our aim is to provide food which is ‘at its best at the point of service’

The key to achieving this - is to ensure that all items are correctly regenerated and that ‘optimum results’ are achieved!!

All multi and twin portions are labelled with our unique ‘trolley regeneration guidelines’ – these are in the form of symbols which have been developed especially to help the member of staff know at a glance whether the product needs to be ‘regenerated’ for the full cooking cycle – full moon  Full Moon  or for half of the cooking cycle – half moonHalf moon

This is further supported by symbols and large text highlighting whether to cook with lid on (e.g.  Casseroles, roast meats etc) to remove lid (e.g.  Pies, crumbles, pasta bakes) or to lift corners (e.g. breaded products, chips)

Taking all this into account and by loading the food into the regeneration trolley in the correct position – we can be confident that Patients are receiving a meal which has been well cooked, is appetising and nutritious
