At apetito we are keen to forge relationships with environmental charities and initiatives as part of our commitment to sustainability. Two such partnerships we have developed are with the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and The Prince's Mayday Network.
Wiltshire Wildlife Trust
We are proud of our partnership with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. This helps us really make a difference with biodiversity and enhancing the local environment.

The Prince's Mayday Network
apetito are proud to be members of the Prince's Trust Mayday Network which is part of the Princes - Business in the Community programme. Each year we submit our carbon footprint data to the Network as part of our commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We think the Mayday Network is a tremendous way to share our achievements and pick up great ideas in carbon management from other passionate organisations and businesses that are part of the project. Love Food Hate Waste Campaign
Food waste has a big impact on global warming and we are doing all we can to avoid waste. Last year we diverted all our factory food waste away from landfill so that it is now processed by an anaerobic digestion facility. This process creates a compost like material as an end product and generates green electricity for the grid. Any occasional short date finished food stock we may have we don't throw away either, we pass that to our community partner FareShare who distribute food to the homeless and needy. We also believe that frozen food keeps waste down as our customers only need to prepare what they need on the day. To find out more visit www.lovefoodhatewaste.com.
