21st Century Vehicle Technology

With our unique New Generation Chefmobil you can be sure the last meal on the delivery round will look and taste as good as the first.  The New Generation Chefmobil incorporates 3 separate ovens and a fridge. Designed to stagger the cooking times, meals are regenerated en-route to the customer. Once the cooking cycle has completed, the oven switches to a “hot-holding” phase that ensures every meal is evenly cooked and delivered at the optimum temperature. The “hot –holding” phase of this system is significantly reduced when compared to traditional regeneration systems.

apetito’s Positive Release System ensures that no meals are released for consumption until a sample from each batch has been tested and approved in a gruelling series of microbiological tests, all carried out in our own Campden approved laboratory.

A comprehensive audit trail from acceptance of raw material through to delivery of each meal to the customer gives you complete peace of mind. In addition to the laboratory tests, all meals are tested daily for taste, consistency, ingredient content and overall quality. You can be absolutely confident your customers are receiving delicious dinners, every time.

Management Reporting

At a time when resources are stretched apetito offers all Local Authorities access to a unique software system called Snapshot. The software provides extensive community meals management covering every aspect of service user requirement and finance, supported by a comprehensive reporting package. As soon as a service user joins the service, their details are entered on to the system, including their individual dietary needs – subsequently only appropriate meals will be offered on their menu, and any information regarding access to the property or well-being of the customer is included in the daily driver instruction. All of this information is available to you in a “real time”.
