apetito played host to several VIP’s and dignitaries on Friday 24th June. The visit coincided with Armed Forces activities taking place all over the Country.
apetito were delighted to have their premises graced by extra special guests including a Chelsea pensioner, Sam Cameron, Trowbridge Town Crier Trevor Heeks, Major Naesmith of Posso, the president of the Royal British legion, and Steve Williams, Chairman of the Armed Forces Committee among others. apetito and Wiltshire Farm Foods have a long standing connection with the Royal British Legion and Armed Forces events and are proud to support such events.
The visitors were given a presentation from Sue Hunt, Wiltshire Farm Foods Development Manager, who explained the vital role of Wiltshire Farm Foods in the community, helping people maintain independence by staying in their own homes longer.
The presentation was followed by an impromptu question and answer session and then lunch - a Wiltshire Farm Foods menu of Roast Beef and Yorkshire puddings main course and an Apple Pie dessert.
Trevor Heeks said he was “Extremely grateful for the support apetito and Wiltshire Farm Foods have given The Royal British Legion and The Armed Forces events.”
Chief executive Paul Freeston said the visit highlighted the apetito’s importance in maintaining an individual’s independence. “The fact that apetito were fortunate enough to receive a Chelsea pensioner among other esteemed dignitaries is testament to our dedication in providing meals to some of the most vulnerable members of society to enable them to carry on living in the way they would choose to. This customer focus is a key driver in our success and ever increasing renown.”
apetito were very proud that a Sam Cameron in particular took time out and came to visit the facilities in Trowbridge.
