apetito Wins Gold RoSPA
18 Mar, 2011
apetito, award-winning frozen food supplier to healthcare, care homes and community meals markets, has achieved ‘Gold’, as part of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards programme, for the second consecutive year.
The award recognises companies that achieve consistently good standards of health and safety practices and those businesses that embed best practice into their company culture. The accolade complements the BSI International Safety Standard (OHSAS 18001) apetito achieved earlier in the year.
Mark Lovett, apetito Safety and Sustainability Manager, said, “For us, at apetito, health and safety excellence is an absolute minimum and critical to creating trust amongst our customer base. As such, we look to go above and beyond the minimum standards; striving for better health and safety processes, which in turn is good business practice.
Our strong and dynamic team has played a huge part in making these health and safety improvements happen and we congratulate them on this latest success.”
‘Team apetito’ will be presented with their award at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on Tuesday, 17 May, 2011.
