apetito Fights Through The Winter Snow!

The recent bad weather has posed an extra challenge for our teams that run the apetito Services depots and the delivery drivers who deliver hot meals to local authority Meals On Wheels customers; as well as our friends at Wiltshire Farm Foods who deliver weekly frozen meals to our Wiltshire Farm Foods customers.
Our distribution drivers have also fought to get through the snow to ensure all our depots are fully stocked ready to deliver to our customers.
apetito Services Lewisham depot has been hit hard by the excessive snow that fell in the South East. Drivers made a huge effort to get in from as far afield as Orpington, Kent, one of the worst hit areas where it has snowed constantly for days now.
The Lewisham team had commutes of between 3-5 hours with one member of the team walking 10 miles from Wandsworth to Honor Oak before being rescued and driven the rest of the way to work.
This is only one of many stories that show how dedicated our teams and drivers are to ensuring our customers continue to get their meals whatever the conditions.
