"What set apetito apart from similar graduate schemes when applying in my final year of university was the fact it was obvious I would play an important part in helping grow the business and make a real difference to our customers from day one. Often with graduate schemes you can be the spare wheel when you become a new starter, however the importance that apetito place on graduate roles was evident throughout the recruitment process and my initial research.

I joined apetito in December 2017 as a Business Graduate within the Specialist Nutrition department. After a thorough induction process I felt confident I could get stuck into my projects from my first day in the office. I was given the responsibility of driving growth and developing innovative products for a multimillion-pound business area which made me feel part of the business immediately."

Making a real difference in Sales

Now into 2019, I have been promoted into a new role in the Care Homes division as a Client Development Manager. Within this role I am responsible for the management and retention of all accounts within the Central South region. This includes conducting tasting sessions, staff training and general ongoing support for my customers.

Outside of my day-to-day role I have been lucky enough to be included in opportunities such as the development of the new business strategy for the digital age and attended a presentation skills course in London.

The best thing about working for apetito is the people. The teams across all departments are both welcoming and supportive in the growth of graduates. It is also a great pleasure knowing that you are helping improve people’s lives daily, working with some of the most vulnerable people in the country.

About Sales at apetito

apetito are approaching a 10 year presence within the Care Homes sector and now cater for 18,000 residents daily across 450 Care Home sites. The role of the Client Development Manager has been key in the growth of this highly successful division.  

After a thorough induction, you will be responsible for managing your own diary. You will learn how to allocate your time wisely, ensuring customer service levels and relationships are sustained as well as delivering on growth opportunities across your territory of approximately 40 partners
