Hosted by James Leigh, General Manager of Care Homes at apetito, discussions focus on some of the key themes emerging from the research findings, including the challenges care homes are facing in delivering a personalised mealtime approach for residents, both in nutritional care and the dining environment, and how the ongoing recruitment and retention crisis is exasperating catering challenges.

James Leigh spoke on the launch of this new episode:
“We were delighted to sit down with Martin to discuss some of the key findings from our new collaborative report, while also gaining Care England’s invaluable perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector today.
“This latest report builds on our 2023 ‘Nourishing Lives’ collaboration, giving an in-depth look at how the care sector has evolved in recent years and, crucially, where further work is needed to continue improving outcomes for residents.
