Paying for your food
You can use our online payment portal to easily pay for your or your relative's meals-on-wheels. The portal is available all day, every day, so you can pay securely at a time that suits you.
All you need to pay is a debit or credit card, and the statement is sent to you by the depot. We encourage all of our customers to pay by debit or credit card if they can. As this is the easiest and most secure method for all parties.
If you do not have a debit card, a relative or friend is also able to pay for your meals. If you have any questions, please contact your local depot.
Friendly, professional delivery staff
Our delivery drivers aren't just drivers; they're a vital part of our service.
They work from local centres and genuinely care about our customers. They’re trained in food safety and nutrition, and the needs of people with dementia.
Many of our customers look forward to seeing their friendly delivery driver each day. Drivers will check on their well-being, and help to plate meals or fetch a glass of water if required. If there's no answer at the door, or the driver has any concerns, a call will be made to a specified person or next of kin.
The meals are cooked en route in our state-of-the-art Chefmobil vans. The vans feature built-in ovens and state-of-the-art equipment, which means that your meal will arrive cooked to perfection and at optimum temperature.
Security at the door
For your peace of mind, we ensure all of our drivers are screened and approved by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). They also wear our branded uniform and carry an apetito badge, so they can easily be identified.
If you want to check the identity of the driver at your door, simply call your local service centre.
If you can’t get to the door, our drivers will be able to access a safe that holds a spare key for your door. This is with your approval, and the code is encrypted on all of our paperwork.
