Overview

As the Graduate IT Finance System Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role bridging the gap between our Business (Finance & Wiltshire Farm Foods Teams) and IT (Enterprise Applications Team). Reporting directly to the Senior Enterprise Application Manager, your role would be to enhance our financial processes and drive efficiency.

Your Key Collaborators:

  1. Enterprise Applications Team:
    • Your seasoned colleagues bring a wealth of experience, having supported, and maintained Dynamics NAV over several years.
    • While drawing from their expertise, you’ll also infuse fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and novel approaches.
  2. Wiltshire Farm Foods Depot Teams:
    • These teams handle daily reconciliations from the day’s trade. Your streamlining efforts will directly benefit their processes.
  3. Apetito Finance Teams:
    • Like their Wiltshire Farm Foods counterparts, they’ll benefit from your dedicated focus on removing barriers and optimizing workflows.

Your Role:

  • Process Enhancement:
    • Dive into our existing processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Focus on streamlining the End of Day process for Wiltshire Farm Food depots, particularly banking reconciliation.
    • Ensure this critical information is centrally accessible for finance teams to review and complete their reconciliations.
  • Future-Proofing:
    • As part of your role, actively participate in the selection process for replacing Dynamics NAV 2009.
    • Help define requirements and shape the solution for our future—a unique opportunity to leave your mark.

This role is based in our Trowbridge Head office and you’ll need to be in the office at least 3 days per week. Remote working is available for up to 2 days (dependant on operational commitments).
