The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role is an exciting and excellent opportunity for a motivated person to join an Engineering Team through an exciting period of change and business growth.

 

The role sits within the Engineering department and is key in supporting the wider manufacturing operation.

 

We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer who will be working in a continuous improvement environment, responsible for the planned maintenance, repair and performance improvement of the manufacturing equipment.

 

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to effectively fault find and implement robust countermeasures to support achieving manufacturing Key Performance Indicators.

 

Working Hours

Sunday 20:00 - 06:00

Monday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out effective planned and repair maintenance on equipment to ensure that all planned/regulatory requirements are met and to support achievement of Key Performance Indicators.

Ensure compliance with H&S policies and take a pro-active role in the continuing improvements in Engineering safety standards.

Ability to carry out complex fault finding and robust countermeasure implementation

Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to improve operational performance & sustainability.

Ensure a high level of efficiency through excellent communications with all Engineering teams & Departments

Ensure all food safety standards are met within the Engineering operations.

Flexible approach to working hours when required

Lead by example.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Recognised Multiskilled Maintenance Engineering experience & Qualification
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety Regulations
  • Recognised experience in Mechanical & Electrical Fault finding
  • A working knowledge of PLC & HMI systems
  • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
  • Basic Health & Safety qualifications and/or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.

Desirable:

  • Previous food manufacturing experience.
