Transforming Care Home Catering: Visit apetito's Exclusive VIP Lounge at Care Show London
With Care Show London fast approaching on 30th April and 1st May, apetito has announced that it will be bringing its exclusive VIP Lounge to the Excel Centre and making a debut at the show.
As the leading provider of meals into the Care Homes sector, apetito is inviting groups and managers to hear how its systems, services and great tasting meals can make a real, positive difference to their care home catering.
Serving up a selection of its nutritious dishes, developed by its expert team of in-house chefs and dietitians, lounge guests will be able to understand how partnering with apetito can drive both labour and cost efficiencies for kitchens, whilst still providing a high-quality and varied meal service for residents to enjoy.
Richard Woodward, General Manager of Care Homes at apetito is delighted to be attending Care Show London this year, saying:
“We pride ourselves on building genuine partnerships with our customers based on collaboration and a deep understanding of differing nutritional needs. We help them to provide a truly excellent mealtime experience for their residents with an extensive range of dishes which taste delicious, accommodate a vast range of different dietary needs and can be enjoyed by all.
“The team and I are looking forward to speaking with visitors during the show about how we can support homes to deliver quality mealtimes and cater to individual resident dietary needs, whilst driving cost savings throughout their kitchen operations, which right now is front and central to many homes.”
Rachel Sipaul, Senior Dietitian at apetito, is also delivering an insightful session on Day One of the show in the Catering, Hydration and Nutrition Theatre (14:10-14:40), ‘The Cost of Getting it Wrong: The Hidden Risks of Non-Compliance in Care Homes’. This talk will dig into the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of residents living with swallowing difficulties, as well as the critical risks of non-compliance to IDDSI guidelines.
